Not only do we have new stories, but we have a new 'New Story' page on which to proudly display them. Why not go take a look while you can still enjoy that 'new code' smell?

Yes, you are reading this correctly, we are officially accepting and publishing new stories once again! For the moment, this process is entirely manual, but this is being worked upon diligently.

1) Where has my favourite story gone?

A few months back, we were forced to change hosts. At that time it was decide to upgrade and change the software for the stories. Because of this, every single story has to be hand-edited and checked for errors and glitches which may have crept into the process. Since we're a volunteer-run site, and there were somewhere around 10,000 stories to check, this will take awhile. Be patient.

2) Why aren't there any new stories?

Everyone's focus is on getting all the old stories back up and running. The software to accept new stories hasn't even been written yet. Until all the old stories are back, no new stories will be accepted. This will take awhile. Once again, this will take awhile. If you value your health and well-being, DO NOT post on the message boards asking this question, or any form of this question. I've been told that while it doesn't hurt for very long, a lightsaber to the head hurts a hell of a lot. Once we start accepting new stories, we will tell everyone right here.

Do I keep slogging away trying to get the old personals back up with all the old accounts intact, or do I reinstall and restart everything from scratch, forcing everyone to re-register? The choice is yours.
